Hi Mom!

Hey.
So I made you this blog, there are stories, quotes with my thoughts, and youtube videos! What more could you want from a blog. I made this for you, I would recommend reading it all... its quite clever and inspirational.

I just want you to know how much I love you. I know that throughout the struggles in your life, that you will always have your family. You will always have me, any time you need to talk, talk to me, I will listen, and help where I can. I know I always said that I picked you in the pre-existence, but I think you must've picked me too. We knew we would need each other, so we choose to be in the same family. Even if sometimes I don't show it, know that I love you and that my heart will always be with you. Because you are my mom, nothing is every going to change that, no amount of distance, or age, or even death is going to stop you from being my mom, and me from being your daughter. It's been decided before either of us were born, and it's what will be forever. I could not be happier, no one else could've been my mom. It was only you. I love you and know that you are there for me as well!

Thank you for being the best mom any one could ask for.

God Loves Each One Of Us

But behold, the Lord hath redeemed my soul from hell; I have beheld his glory, and I am encircled about eternally in the arms of his love.
-2 Nephi 1:15
No one of us is less treasured or cherished of God than another. I testify that He loves each of us- insecurities, anxieties, self-image, and all. He doesn't measure our talents or out looks; He doesn't measure our professions or our possessions. he cheers on every runner, calling out that the race is against sin, not against each other. I know that if we will be faithful there is a perfectly tailored robe of righteousness ready and waiting for everyone, "robes... made... white in the blood of the Lamb.
-Jeffrey R. Holland

I can truly testify that God loves each and everyone of us. I always said that and could understand from all the gifts he has given me, and from everyone else's stories. Like two weeks ago, I was driving home from work, and I had been paid more than what I had expected. I was very thrilled, and shocked. As I was waiting at the red light, I was overcome by this overwhelming feeling of love. I was at first confused, and then ecstatic, to think that I could ever even be capable of such emotion! Such love! I was overcome by the sentence "I love you" and for me, someone who had been pondering what love felt like. How do I know I love someone? How do I know that someone loves me? I realized this was it, to be able to be given the chance to even feel something like this, even just part way for someone, for more than just the brief moment of time that I had in the car, would be enough for a lifetime. Enough for more than one lifetime, and then to realize I could feel God's love everyday for the rest of eternity if I just let him, then I could be happy for the rest of eternity. Working towards the goal of being worthy enough to feel that love everyday and feel that love for someone else eventually is something I am striving to do, and that we should all strive to do.

Story Time

The time where Dad was telling all of us to be serious, and so then you said, really serious? And you left the room and then you came back without your pants on doing the Risky Business scene, because dad had done it some time earlier! Ha! Nice going mom, way to show it to him! Remember the time we were all rhyming, and dad told us to be serious and pray... So then Jake started to pray and rhyme at the same time! Priceless!

Finding Inner Peace

And it came to pass that after they had spoken these words the Spirit of the Lord came upon them, and they were filled with joy, having received a remission of their sins, and having peace of conscience, because of the exceeding faith which they had in Jesus Christ who should come, according to the words which king Benjamin had spoken unto them.
-Mosiah 4:3
Inner peace comes only as we maintain the integrity of truth in all aspects of our lives. When we covenant to follow the Lord and obey His commandments, we accept His standards in every thought, action, and deed
-Russell M. Nelson

Peace is such an amazing feeling, and yet so hard to obtain. I know it's their, all i have to do is what the Lord has asked of us: read daily, pray, serve, etc. And yet it's so hard to do. I know that it's an amazing feeling and I know how to feel it, so why don't I do those things all the time so I can feel the peace all the time? Because I'm not perfect I guess would be the right answer. Just search for the peace and you will feel awesome all the time!

Story Time

That time I tried to cook everyone pancakes for breakfast, but the pancakes kept burning on the outside and not cooking on the inside and I couldn't figure out why! Then you asked what I was using to spray the pan, and it turned out to be cleaning spray! Ah! what a mess... That must have been like all those times that you messed up when you were learning to cook! At least I'm learning earlier!
